About
History
CTSGI was formed in March of 2002
as the result of an acquisition of resources and intellectual capital from
another technology consulting firm. Our
consultants have created high impact Infrastructure Management solutions for
JPMorgan/Chase, Computer Sciences Corp, First USA Bank/BankOne, Florida Power
and Light, Booz Allen Hamilton, Charter Communications, Novell, Looking Glass
Networks, Sprint, Cable & Wireless, Public Service Energy Group (PSE&G),
TECO Energy and various branches of the United States Government.
Approach
CTSGI has a deep understanding of
the complexity of Infrastructure Management and direct experience in the
planning, design and implementation of advanced multi-vendor management
solutions. CTSGI has developed a
comprehensive approach to Infrastructure Management requirements that is directly
linked with key business issues.
Solutions are crafted to enhance service performance while containing
costs and maximizing return on investment.
Vendor Alliances
CTSGI maintains strong
relationships with key technology management hardware and software
vendors. This allows us to solve
problems quickly when they arise as well as influence product features and
direction.
"End-to-End” Management
CTSGI strongly believes that
there are significant benefits to be gained through the deployment of an
integrated solution to address the management of networks, systems and
applications as a unified service delivery vehicle. This is the only way that
true, end-to-end service performance can be assured while controlling operational
costs and enhancing customer and end-user satisfaction.
People, Process & Technology – Key to
Success
CTSGI consultants work with the
client staffs to design and implement the essential operational processes and
organizational changes that allow real business benefits to be gained from the
proposed technical solution. This
inclusive approach also addresses the reality that a technological solution
alone will not solve most business issues.
Repeatable Solutions
CTSGI has developed a reference
architecture that integrates a series of best-of-breed products to deliver a
broad set of leading management capabilities. This approach allows CTSGI to
accelerate project timelines, minimize risks and reduce the overall cost of the
solution.
Scalability
CTSGI understands that the
management architecture must be scalable to support changes to infrastructure,
including rapid expansion in capacity, geography or technology support. Distributed
management is one key technique that CTSGI has embraced to allow the management
solution to adapt to rapidly changing business and operational environments.
Training
CTSGI works with many
infrastructure management products and suites.
In many cases, there are several “correct” ways to utilize these tools
to provide an effective solution.
Understanding the capabilities and limitations to a particular product
set is key to this approach. Our
consultants can provide on the job or classroom training based on real world
experience.
